Vehicle Description 1934 Ford Victoria 4-Passenger Coupe (40A) 221ci 90hp Flathead V8 & 3-Speed Manual Transmission The '34 Ford was the choice for none other than Bonnie & Clyde.
Why? Because of the power coming from this amazing power plant which was way ahead of its time.
This 1934 Vicky has undergone a Flawless Restoration and can only be rated as a true #1 car in showroom condition.
All body panels are original and 100% steel.
All parts are pieces are the real thing.
The entire grille, badges, bumpers, headlights and all chrome are all original.
The dashboard and door frames are finished in polished wood.
The steering wheel is as good as new! Seating is beautifully finished and like new as is the rest of the interior.
The 221ci 90hp Flathead V8 engine has incredible power compared to others of its day running a 0-60mph stretch in under 10seconds.
It weighed in at just 2600lbs.
The engine is its factory original with a cast iron block, Stromberg EE single barrel carburetor and 3 speed manual transmission.
There were 563,921 Fords produced in 1934.
Only 20,083 were Victoria Coupes.
At a whopping $605, the Victoria was the most expensive Ford in 1934.
Quite a bit of money considering that the average household income in 1934 was $1600, the average home was $5970 and gasoline was.
10cents per gallon.
This Vicky starts, runs and rides perfectly and we can say that with complete confidence as long as your expectations are realistic.
It will not ride like your new Range Rover.
It is actually very comfortable and fun to drive.
It keeps up with todays traffic and stops safely.
The wheels are not the original.
They are similar in look to the originals but have much more rubber on the road which makes the ride smoother and far more road worthy.
They look amazing with the 2 wide whites.
We do not have the original rims.
The trunk has the the spare tire cover on the outside.
The inside has the side curtains and hard cover lid to keep your items dry although I seriously doubt that this car will ever see rain again.
The undercarriage looks brand new.
Everything works as it should including all gauges and the radio.
The front windshield rolls out forward from the inside.
This is an absolutely stunning 86 year old antique that commands attention wherever it goes.
Please call us with any questions or email to email protected The vehicle is in our shop in Old Bethpage NY and visits are welcome preferably by appointment so that we may give you the attention you deserve.
